Surala Swarupa

Dollyweb2Founder and Director of Veda School of Learning

Surala Persie Swarupa (Dolly) is the daughter of the late John David, president and founder of AMG India until January 2005 when he passed from this life and went to his reward after a lifetime of devotion and service to the Lord he loved.

Veda is a school for children of rural uneducated parents that have no way of providing an education for their children. Dolly began Veda out of a desire to reach her fellow countrymen with the Gospel. This has been the focus and goal of the school since its inception.

At Veda over 1,300 children receive a top quality education in a loving Christian environment. As Dolly read the scriptures, she realized that God used children to do His work. A little girl was used by God to tell Naaman how to be healed of leprosy. A little boy gave up his lunch so that Christ could feed thousands of people. God called Samuel into His service when he was but a child. Dolly realized that since God worked through children in the Bible, He could do the same in India today! The Christian instruction the students receive will break down barriers for the preaching of the Gospel in their respective villages.
